Why Netex-PMS

Three reasons it isn't generic software.

AI-first by architecture, not by sticker

Every LLM, embedding, transcription, or generative-AI call across all 35 apps flows through netex_ai, our single mandatory AI gateway. That means observability, cost control, PII scrubbing, and EU AI Act compliance enforced at one chokepoint — not bolted onto each feature.

67 AI features across 9 tiers. 10 hospitality-tuned services. August 2026 EU AI Act compliance enforced at the gateway.

Modular for real, not for sale-pages

Our Layer 1 modules embed dormant hotel-specific behaviour that activates only when the hotel core is installed. A standalone restaurant, spa, or gym can run the same code as a 300-room resort — and grow into the full platform without re-platforming.

9 product SKUs from Villa to Enterprise Chain. Edition bundles install the right subset in one click.

Built for hospitality, not generic ERP

Most ERPs ship one reconciliation point: finance. We ship 13 — RoomNight, Folio, F&B Sales, Channel, Loyalty, USALI, GRNI, Inventory, FX, City Ledger, Group/BEO, Member Tier and Night Audit — because hospitality runs on them.

USALI 11th-edition accounting, HACCP-aware F&B, multi-property SaaS chain management — all standard.

Why four layers?

Because hospitality isn't one customer profile — it's nine. From a single Villa to an Enterprise Chain, from a standalone bar to a flagship resort. Four layers let one codebase serve all nine SKUs without forks.

Layer 0 — Platform

Authentication, approval, AI gateway, notifications, audit trail, API gateway. Every business module depends on it; users never navigate here directly.

Layer 1 — Generic Business

Reusable business primitives that work without hotel modules through graceful degradation. Add the hotel core later and dormant hotel-specific behaviour activates automatically.

Layer 2 — Hotel Vertical

Hospitality-specific functionality — front office, central reservation, folio, housekeeping, banquets, distribution. Requires hotel_base.

Layer 3 — Infrastructure

Cross-cutting tooling: 300+ reports, the Integration Hub, and the BI Report Builder.

The 7+3 cluster map

Ten clusters. Click to look inside.

Seven clusters are shipping today; three more are designed, scoped, and on the roadmap. Select any cluster to see the apps it contains.

AI-first, single gateway

One AI gateway. Every call observed, costed, safety-filtered, audited.

Netex-PMS doesn't add AI to features — AI is a platform contract. The netex_ai module is the single, mandatory gateway through which every LLM call, embedding, transcription, vision analysis, or generative-AI operation across the entire platform is executed. No other module — Platform, Generic, or Hotel — calls a provider directly.

This is enforced architecturally. Any module attempting a direct Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google call won't pass our internal Step 8 quality audit. The result: every AI call is observed for cost, scrubbed of PII, safety-filtered, evaluated for quality, and governed under the same EU AI Act compliance framework.

The gateway routes by capability ("summarize-long-text", "extract-id-document"), not model name. Callers request what they need; the gateway picks the best provider for the task, the tenant's budget tier, the region's data-residency rules, and current load.

EU AI Act compliance enforced at the gateway.

August 2026 enforcement deadline. risk_tier='unacceptable' requests are blocked at AI-4001. risk_tier='high' requests require Human-in-the-Loop review. Every gateway call produces a tamper-evident audit log entry — SHA-256 hash chained with daily integrity verification.

Compliance built in

Compliance isn't a bolt-on. It's woven into every layer.

Every state change is logged in a tamper-evident, SHA-256 hash-chained audit trail (netex.audit.log + approval.audit.log). Every AI call passes through use-case registry, PII redaction, DLP, consent, budget, and HITL gates before reaching a provider. Every monetary action above tenant-defined thresholds requires multi-step approval with SoD enforcement and step-up MFA where appropriate.

For hotel finance, we implement USALI 11th edition Schedule 3+ revenue and expense classifications natively, with R6 reconciliation running monthly + year-end. For F&B operations, HACCP cold-chain controls drive minibar restock workflows and inventory adjustments. For multi-jurisdiction operations, per-market overlays cover Sri Lanka, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Maldives, Bangladesh, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

The reconciliation engine

Hospitality runs on reconciliation. We built thirteen.

Most PMSs ship one reconciliation point — finance. Netex-PMS ships thirteen, each queryable, auditable, and automated.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How long does deployment take?
Villa edition: 2–4 weeks. Compact: 4–8 weeks. Professional / Enterprise: 12–24 weeks depending on integrations and data migration.
Is this truly modular? Can I install just netex_pos for a standalone restaurant?
Yes. The F&B-RETAIL deployment-unit split (per ADR-002) means a standalone restaurant installs only netex_pos + netex_outlet_mgmt + inventory_mgmt + ntx_finance_core — the same code a 300-room resort uses.
How does AI cost scale?
Every AI call is metered through netex_ai with per-tenant budgets. Hard caps prevent runaway spending; soft caps (50%, 80%, 100%) trigger alerts. You set the budget; the gateway enforces it.
What if the EU AI Act doesn't apply to me?
The gateway still enforces consent, PII scrubbing, DLP, and audit — you get safety controls regardless of jurisdiction. EU AI Act features can be feature-flagged off for non-EU tenants.
What's the migration path from our existing PMS?
Phased. Phase 1 imports master data via netex_uat-validated migration scripts. Phase 2 runs parallel reservation flows. Phase 3 cuts over folio + accounting. Phase 4 retires legacy. Typically 12–20 weeks for full migration.
Is there a hosted SaaS option?
Yes. Multi-tenant SaaS via nop_integration (Netex Operating Platform). Single-tenant deployments are also supported on customer infrastructure.
Does this work for villas / boutique guesthouses?
Yes. The Villa edition installs just the platform foundation, a lite hotel-ops subset, and finance. Pricing reflects scale.
